The University of Calgary has particular strengths that cross departments and faculties in a number of areas specifically relevant to The School of Public Policy. These include: military and strategic studies, geographic information systems technology, and international relations with particular strength on the United States and Latin America. At the same time our market surveys indicate that there is a significant need to develop strength on Middle East policy. That will become a keystone of innovative programming at The School of Public Policy.
